TOMMY LEE 'Partly Responsible' For Dismissal Of Hotel Staff In Australia
May 15, 2005According to The Daily Telegraph, MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee's antics are partly responsible for the dismissal of staff at his Australian hotel last week.
Lee, who'd been in Australia to present the Jack Awards, had been holidaying at Hayman Island after the awards ceremony, which was held on Tuesday night.
Lee had reportedly asked two off-duty staff-members back to his hotel room for drinks during his stay (which ended on Friday night) and as a result the staff were asked to leave the island resort.
It is believed the hotel has a rule forbidding staff from fraternizing with guests, and that Lee was unaware that socializing with them could get them fired.
The drummer and former husband of Pamela Anderson was well-behaved during his stay in Sydney, to the extent that he curbed his partying in order to be fresh for interviews each morning.
Lee is currently staying at Airlie Beach in the Whitsundays and will tour Australia with MÖTLEY CRÜE in December.
